WEEK OF ACTION DAY 6 >>
Told ya we'd be back!
In the afternoon we arrived again at Jennifer Ichida's. Two demos in less than a 24 hour period - bet ya didn't bargain for this when you moved here from Tennessee, did ya Jennifer?
While protesting outside of Ichida's, several people stopped by to say they read the flier left on their car and they wanted to know how they could help. We referred them to the website and they said they may even join us next time we hold a protest outside of Ichida's. Police showed up again, but this time they just did their usual routine (writing down license plates, taking our photos, etc..) None of this stuff scares us. Even when you said you were going to arrest us, we said fine. We aren't going to stop.
That evening we went to wife-beating animal-killing Audie Leventhal's mansion. Yes, you read right, Audie Leventhal has been convicted repeatedly for domestic violence against his wife Jackie Leventhal. This is something we're sure he's not proud of, but it's something we think all his neighbors should be aware of. So we showed up to his million dollar home chanting slogans such as "Hey Audie Whattdya say? - Did You Beat Your Wife Today?" and "At work - the Monkeys! At home - Your Wife! - All you cause is pain and strife!" There was some sort of get together at his house that evening and there were many guests. At one point spies were sent down through a back entrance to take our leaflet and chat with us. Although we suspected that they were sent on behalf of Leventhal, we told them the same spiel that we told all the neighbors. Leventhal's life speaks for itself. Cheating people out of money (he's been sued in civil court dozens of times), beating his wife (he has two PENDING cases for domestic violence), and training attack dogs. Not to mention what he does on that taxpayer's dime: sewing kittens' eyelids shut, screwing bolts into monkey's skulls, etc.. We honestly were concerned for our safety being outside this maniacs house.
We felt fine when police showed up. Again they asked who the "ringleader" was. Again, our response was silence. The neighbor across the street from Leventhal approached the police officer - and she told him that she had absolutely no problem with us being there at all and that the person who lives in that house truly is a maniac. I guess police are used to showing up this address all the time because of Leventhal's violent nature.
Audie we hope you read this write up and know that all your dirty laundry - and there's a lot of it - is about to be aired very publicly in Salt Lake. You pissed off the wrong group of dedicated people - the animal rights movement. We find people's weaknesses and use it to our advantage. You're too easy a target and deep down, we're sure you know this as well. Stop your gruesome primate experiments or prepare to defend against a public outcry that our taxes to the tune of hundreds of thousands every year are going to a tenured University professor with a history of stealing, animal abusing, and violence. It's your choice - we won't mind turning you into vivisection's pariah.
You may not like this. You may try wrongfully suing us just like you have so many others in your past. But remember Audie - the truth is an absolute defense to any slander case and we would absolutely love the day that UPF winds up in court proving that "animal-killing" and "wife-beating" are in fact truthful labels to affix to your character.
We would love it.
