AUDIE LEVENTHAL: WIFE BEATER >>
Audie Leventhal is proof that people who abuse animals rarely stop there.
Audie is a repeat offender of domestic violence and, according to several police reports, strikes his wife with a closed fist and then claims she "fell on her face." Very classy.
This year alone Audie has had at least 2 separate incidents of domestic violence - and one of these is a pending case in Salt Lake County courts. He has charges of "public intoxication" "assault" "domestic violence" and "interference with police officer making an arrest." And animal rights activists are the violent ones?
No, I'm afraid we're the compassionate ones who are sickened that Audie gets away with this as well as sewing kittens eyelids shut and restraining primates to chairs. We're also the creative ones and when you use primates we may be there right behind you to expose you, even in your most embarassing times.
Such as pre-trial hearings. Audie was scheduled today for one of this abuse cases and we showed up with a brand new banner we wanted to show off. Unfortunately for the activists that showed up that cold morning, the case was rescheduled at the last moment. But this is fortunate for our movement as it gives us more time to promote his upcoming court dates.
Audie as long as you deal with animal abuse, you deal with us. You have this to look forward to:

Audie's scheduled pre-trial hearing is for January 8, 2007 at 8:30 AM with Judge Peggy Acomb.
Audie's scheduled jury trial is for February 14, 2007 (aw, how sweet) at 8:30 AM with Judge Peggy Acomb.
Both events take place at 2001 S. State Street. These are public hearings and can be attended by anyone.
Calling all Utah and surrounding activists: be there to name and shame one of the most sleazy people in our state and recipients of federal grant dollars. We don't stop until he stops the killing.
See ya in court Audie.
