HAPPY EASTER TO THE VIVISECTORS >>
First stop on our Easter agenda was the home of Alessandra Angelucci (Bresloff). Angelucci was playing hide in her house - no movement or lights inside the house but we knew she was home. After twenty angry activists called attention to Alessandra in her neighborhood, University of Utah police officers and Salt Lake city police officers turned up. All in all, a total of six police cars and roughly a dozen police officers were there at Angelucci's. Three officers went up to her house to have a chat with her, presumably to remind her that home demonstrations are constitutionally protected free speech.
After roughly an hour of demoing, we went to our second home - Audie Leventhal. Neighbor after neighbor drove up and took our handout and asked questions about Audie. One neighbor told us a familiar tale: that police are allllways at Audie's house (he is a repeat domestic violence offender). His neighbors all think he's a very odd and hyper-aggressive fellow.
One more holiday - one more day of demos. We'll see many of you this Mother's Day in Los Angeles! (right?)
