ANGELUCCI, LEVENTHAL, ANGELUCCI

On the afternoon of Saturday February 17th, we made our way to Angelucci's home for another protest. We don't know if she was home, but we used the opportunity to do outreach to her neighborhood. We would've guessed that her neighbors were getting used to seeing us and knew all about Angelucci's hideous marmoset experiments, but many neighbors were stopping their cars and taking a DVD of footage, a flier about Angelucci, and obviously learning everything (and being horrified) for the first time. We also went door to door and talked to some of her immediate neighbors. We figured that UPF can only be protesting at her house so much, but if we can rally her neighbors against her then perhaps Angelucci will feel the constant pressure of a community who does not appreciate animal abusers.

After Angelucci's, we went to Leventhal's mansion again. We noticed lots of new signs up that weren't there last week including "KEEP OUT", "BEWARE OF DOG" and "NO TRESPASSING." What a great indicator that our protests are having an effect on Leventhal. We stayed and chanted for about 20 minutes and left. As we were pulling away we saw a few police cruisers drive up the street. Maybe there was another 'medical event' inside. Who knows.

Then the next day, Sunday the 18th, we made a return trip to Angelucci's. At around 7:30 pm we returned and this time we saw Angelucci herself standing at her window and as we were leaving she filmed us. Film us all you want Angelucci; protests are still protected under the 1st amendment and we'll always be back until you quit your job. We don't care if it takes years.
