WHERE IN THE WORLD IS MR. AUDIE LEVENTHAL? >>

Audie Leventhal was scheduled for a jury trial for domestic violence at 8:30 am today. Activists showed up at 2001 S. State Street at the Salt Lake County Government Center and held a brief demo before going inside to watch the proceedings. About 10 of us were crowded in the small waiting room waiting for Audie to show. Witnesses for the prosecution and jurors were signing in at the front, and the receptionist told us it was still on the docket.

But then inside the courtroom, Judge Acomb said there was an issue with the Leventhal proceedings. The room fell quiet and felt noticably awkward. The prosecutor didn't provide details - except to say that at the absolute last minute the venue was changed to Holladay City instead of Salt Lake County and that the proceedings were moved to a different day, which was not disclosed (but don't think we won't find out Audie). The judge seemed a bit confused as to why things were changed so suddenly, but no details were disclosed. I think we all know why. But Audie what is this really accomplishing?

Do you think we mind all these opportunities to name and shame you to government employees? Plus, now we've networked with several more people involved in the case, and we've even swapped contact info. Do you think they aren't going to let us know where and when the new venue is? Or what about the dirt we are still gleaning on you whenever we show up?

For example, today we learned from someone involved in the case that your wife Jackie had to have reconstructive surgery because you beat her face in so bad. We also learned more dirt, but we won't publicize it yet because we don't want to jeopardize the state's prosecution against you. We want you behind bars. Quite frankly, we're glad you keep postponing the inevitable. Momentum keeps building and without a question you are now #1 focus of this campaign.

Plus, now we have a whole new crowd of government employees to entertain and educate (Holladay City).

And we WILL be there Audie. Rest assured.
